Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of FlyButter at flybutterapp.com and flybutter.app. By creating an account or using FlyButter, you agree to them. Questions: hello@flybutterapp.com.

Early access and beta

FlyButter is in early access. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable while we improve it. Beta and early-access codes are personal; please don't share them publicly.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account. Give accurate information when you sign up, and tell us at hello@flybutterapp.com if you think someone else has used your account.

Your data is yours

Everything you put in FlyButter (aircraft, flights, maintenance, squawks, expenses, documents and photos) belongs to you. You give us permission to store and display it only so we can run the service for you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

FlyButter is a tool, not your official record

FlyButter helps you organize and track aircraft information. It does not replace the logbooks, maintenance records or inspections that regulations require, and it is not a substitute for a qualified mechanic or inspector. The owner or operator remains responsible for keeping the aircraft airworthy and its records complete. Always confirm due dates and compliance with your official records and your A&P/IA.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse FlyButter: no attempts to break into other accounts or the service, no uploading anything illegal or harmful, and no use that interferes with other pilots' use of the service.

Ending your account

You can stop using FlyButter and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

No warranty

FlyButter is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, FlyButter is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on information in the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and let account holders know by email about significant changes. Continuing to use FlyButter after a change means you accept the updated terms.
